Item Description

Zeolite specimens, especially apophyllite, are world famous from this noted Virginia locale. Glassy, transparent to translucent, pseudocubic apophyllite crystals are festooned on the large mounded matrix of very complimentary, translucent, mint-green bladed prehnite botryoids. The much larger crystal on the edge is cleaved. These are American classics and are really not that common in this combination quality. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
