A pristine, 3.4 cm, gemmy tetragonal sharply pyramidal apophyllite crystal with a colorless tip and light green body is dramatically set on two large intergrown, gemmy, lustrous, colorless, complex calcite rhombs on this aesthetic and sculptural combination from Jalgaon. The impressive water-clear calcites are richly peppered with smaller apophyllites, a 3.5 cm doubly terminated pearlescent stilbite crystal and smaller stilbites. The piece has several fine display possibilities. This outstanding combination was formerly in the first collection of prominent collector Dr. Steve Neely # 583, which he sold in 1998.
