A classic, showy and very fine old-time miniature of lustrous and translucent, intergrown blocky apophyllite crystals from the famous Trap Rock quarries of Paterson. Complete all-around and pristine. The contact is on the back. The old F. Krantz label dates to after 1890 and the Krantz numbers match to the piece. Note the confusion about whether this was from New York or New Jersey on his label! Ex Herb Obodda Collection # 1114. A must for the species or locality collector!
