Item Description
An excellent cluster of about a dozen rectangular prisms of Hydroxyapophyllite on matrix, with Inesite. The Hydroxyapophyllites have superb luster, are partially gemmy, and are nearly colorless. Note this is not the more common Fluor-variety of Apophyllite. This is much rarer, and these crystals are first-class. The largest is about 1.6 cm on edge. The reverse side has nearly a dozen sharp, well-formed, radial sprays of Inesite, the largest of which is 1 cm across. Excellent simply for the Hydroxyapophyllite, and great as a Wessels combination piece.
