An aesthetic and rare combination from this historic, old iron mining complex, started in 1732! A 3.1 cm, sharp, tabular, pastel-pink apophyllite crystal with frosted faces is jauntily set upright on matrix of sharp, off-white feldspar crystals partially coated with green chlorite microcrystals. A small bruise to the apophyllite termination tip is certainly a modest detraction to this fine rarity. Excellent and rare combination material from this old locale from the Schlichter Collection.
