Item Description
The Millington Quarry in New Jersey was a great specimen producer for years, and a source of excellent zeolite specimens and associated species. This piece features no zeolites, but it hosts sharp, lustrous, colorless/white, blocky to tabular crystals of Apophyllite measuring up to 1.2 cm on matrix. The Apophyllite crystals have good form and virtually no damage except for the periphery. A worthwhile cabinet sized specimen of this classic trap rock material. This locality is completely closed down and will never produce these pieces again. From the collection of Richard Rossi.
