Item Description
A stunning and aesthetic combination from the now infamous find of 2001. A sculptural, radial cluster of very glassy, water-clear, colorless to green, cubically-tipped apophyllite crystals is dramatically set on the starkly contrasting mounded cluster of large pearlescent stilbite blades. It looks a corsage and the variable length of the apophyllites is noteworthy. You simply cannot get them on the market, any more! These have a special place in the midst of all the other Indian minerals and some people call them "disco balls" for good reason. They sparkle incredibly in person. This combination is superb and rare in quality. This piece is in excellent shape, with very few cleaved apophyllites. Valued at $2500-3000.
