Apophyllite and Stilbite on Heulandite

A 6.0 x 5.5 cm cluster of glassy, blocky, color-zoned green apophyllite crystals is aesthetically placed, front and center, on the undulating CABINET basalt matrix covered with pastel-green heulandite books and nicely accented with a scattering of pearlescent, stilbite blades. The apophyllites are pristine and the trivial periphery wear is certainly not a detraction. The quarries around Jalgaon have produced a stunning variety of zeolite specimens and this is a large, dramatic and fine example.
