Item Description
A STRIKING LARGE CABINET Indian specimen from recent finds at Jalgaon, India. Gemmy and lustrous, pastel-green to colorless, blocky apophyllite crystals with steep pyramidal to chisel terminations are very aesthetically scattered on the well-prepared, bowl-like basalt vug covered with sugary, drusy quartz. The dramatic, isolated apophyllite on one end is 6.5 cm and is doubly terminated. A couple of pearlescent, pastel-pink stilbite blades are a very nice accent, especially the one doubly terminated stilbite embedded in the apophyllite crystal. This excellent, large specimen is pristine and is highly representative combination material from this well-known locale.
