Apophyllite

A classic, display specimen featuring VERY gemmy, tabular Apophyllite crystals up to 2.0 cm very aesthetically perched atop basalt matrix. Minor green Celadonite can be seen near the base of the Apophyllite crystals. The piece is in great shape overall and the displayability leaves nothing to be desired from an aesthetic standpoint. You can see that the Apophyllites are super lustrous, and nearly totally gem quality. Indian Zeolites (and associated species like Apophyllite) may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant!
