Item Description

This apophyllite specimen is one of a very few special pieces from a small pocket found about 2001. The crystallization is very unusual! I know this dating because I packed it away right after that, for my move to Dallas, and only just rediscovered it in my inventory as I go through more material dating back to my move that was stashed away in a storage unit all this time. To this day, I have not seen any similar pieces in style, or rather in combination of crystal habit and intense mint green color, as these were. My recollection is that this was the best of the bunch in the room, where they were being sold, and I paid highly for it at the time. Sure, Indian apophyllite is common enough in a general sense, but really special, uniquely styled piece likes this are not so common. Valued $2000-2400
