Item Description
Apatite is one of the most diverse minerals out there, with a great range of habits and colors. A few years ago in Pakistan, a really cool but limited discovery of bicolor Apatite crystals was made. This piece features a pair of fairly sharp, semi-lustrous, doubly-terminated, translucent, purple and yellow-green crystals of Apatite with several small pinkish tabular blades of Apatite sitting on contrasting white Albite with Quartz on the underside of the piece. Good quality all around, virtually no damage, and really unusual for Apatite from the standpoint of color. The largest Apatite measures 7 mm long. A cool specimen of this hard to find material.
