Apatite, Quartz, Siderite & Pyrite

Item Description

A scuptural and classic combination specimen from the famous mines at Panasqueira. Two, gemmy, pink to purple to aquamarine to colorless, apatite crystals to 2.1 cm are perched on a quartz crystal. A striking ribbon of tan siderite disks hides the apatites and quartz crystals and cascades down the quartz crystal. Sparkly spherical clusters of brassy, pyrite microcrystals are a super accent. The side of one of the apatites is contacted, but has no damage, per se. The apatites fluoresce white. Excellent and very showy combination material.
