Apatite specimens of this combination quality are just not that common from the famous mines at Butte. The sculptural matrix of lustrous, jet-black enargite crystals hosts a dense, pretty nest of tiny quartz crystal sprays richly accented with hexagonal, sky-blue, gem apatite crystals and a scattering of starkly contrasting, brassy, striated, pyrite crystals. Very rich, nifty and rare, older Butte combination material.
