Item Description

Beautiful purple, gemmy and lustrous, fluorapatite crystals to about 6 mm are aesthetically scattered with a few quartz points on the sculptural, bladed albite matrix on this very showy and excellent combination piece from the 1960s to early 70s finds at this famous pegmatite. Bruised and contacted apatites are noted, but this remains a highly representative combination example of the species and locale. Seldom on the market. Ex Jaime Bird Collection.
