Apatite on Tourmaline

Here we have a stark association of a doubly-terminated, lustrous, translucent pink apatite on very dark (more or less black). but lustrous green tourmaline. The apatite is adorned a muscovite crystal at the end, and fluoresces a bright yellow under SW-UV light. The tourmaline is very dark, but if you hold a flashlight up to the piece, you can see that it is a dark green. Both the tourmaline and the apatite are in great shape, with minor edge wear on the tourmaline that doesn't detract. Interesting, rare combo! Valued $750-900
