Apatite on Quartz

Item Description

A couple sharp, soft pink, hexagonal, tabular crystals of Apatite are sitting alongside very gemmy, colorless Quartz prisms on minor Albite matrix. A tiny bright orange trapezohedron of Spessartine Garnet can be seen in between the Apatite and Albite. The piece displays nicely as you can see from the photos and there is very little damage overall. A classic pink Apatite from Pakistan. Under UV light, the Apatites glow. Hard to photograph and better in person. The largest Apatite crystal measures 3.1 cm.
