Item Description

A classic, older combination specimen from the famous Rhone Glacier of Switzerland. This very aesthetic, two-sided specimen features a stacked cluster of sharp, orthoclase variety adularia crystals preferentially coated-with or included-with chlorite. The striking large crystal at the top is 4.7 cm across. Two, gemmy and lustrous, pretty pink, hexagonal apatite crystals, 1.6 cm and 1.0 cm, are tucked into opposite sides of this striking piece and are super accents. Complete all-around and nearly a floater, with only one point of contact. The piece is in excellent shape. Uncommonly fine quality from this noted locale. Ex Belsky Collection. Valued over $500 for combination quality and locality.
