Item Description
Beautiful, gemmy and lustrous, pretty lavender apatite crystals to 1.0 are aesthetically clustered along with one nearby isolated 4 mm crystal on a striking and sculptural stacked cluster of two, very sharp, highly lustrous, partially translucent, orthoclase variety adularia crystals. The crystals are preferentially coated or included with chlorite, adding much character and contrasting color for the apatites. The fabulous crowning rhomb is 5.2 cm on the diagonal and is pristine, except for some contacting on one side, which has no damage. There are many more smaller apatites scattered on the adularia crystals and on the fringe of the bit of albite matrix. This is very uncommon and very fine combination material from the Shigar Valley.
