Apatite (new find!)

At the Denver Show last year, a dealer showed up with a small batch of golden apatites from a new find in Colorado. As you are well aware, new finds of gem crystals in Colorado are rare! As far as we know, this was all the specimens that had come out from this find, and we were lucky to be there very early, and were able to cherry pick the very best ones. This is a fat, chunky one, translucent-to-transparent (this is the top transparency for the find), with a glassy hexagonal termination. Weighs 36 grams.
