Item Description
Sharp, glassy, lustrous, gemmy transparent to translucent, variable olive-green textbook tabular hexagonal apatite crystals are dynamically clustered on the blocky matrix plate. The striking doubly terminated upright prism is 1.9 x 1.8 x 0.8 cm and the flat lying prism is 2.5 cm long. Part of the matrix is covered with sparkly spherical clusters of tiny muscovite plates adding character. A RARE and stunning accessory are the tufts and nests of tiny gem tourmaline needles, preferentially attached to apatite crystals and the matrix. This exceptionally rare and sculptural combination specimen is from the noted large 2007 find at this famous locale. Mustard-yellow fluorescence, brighter in the interior. A VERY RARE combination classic from the Sapo Mine. valued $1000
