Apatite (fluorescent) on DT Quartz ex Obodda

Item Description

Very pretty lilac-colored apatite crystals are clustered on both sides of one end of a highly unusual looking doubly terminated quartz crystal from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Most of the underlying feldspar matrix has been overgrown by the glassy quartz crystal, which has some skeletal features. It looks like a Star Trek shuttle when viewed from the side! Nifty. The apatites fluoresce yellow.
