Apatite is found in many world localities, in many different colors. For collectors, one of, if not the most desirable hue for Apatite is purple. This stone is from an old discovery in Afghanistan from the 1990s and has a gorgeous light purple color. The stone has a custom "Modified Radiant" cut with excellent clarity and looks beautiful face up. The stone was faceted by Robert Heath. A wonderful and hard to find purple Apatite gem that would make a great addition to any collection, and if you have a purple Apatite crystal in your collection, this stone would pair up nicely to make a lovely "rough and cut" set.
