Apatite (beautiful color)

Item Description

A gorgeous, rich saturated blue-green gem of Apatite from Madagascar. The stone almost seems to show a bit of pleochroism, as the color changes ever so slightly when the stone is rotated on a different axis. I see flashes of yellow, green and blue depending upon the temperature of the light source. If nothing else, the stone is at least bi-colored, if not pleochroic. It has a "Brilliant Oval" cut with nearly eye-clean clarity. A beautiful Apatite with a color combination that is not typically seen in the material.
