Item Description

Mineral specimens of ANY species are extremely rare from this obscure Italian Alpine locality. A very sharp, gem, 1.2 x 0.8 x 0.7 cm, light tan apatite crystal is pleasingly set on gneiss matrix covered with sparkly, charcoal-gray, chlorite microcrystals. A showy and rare old combination specimen from the Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained from the Autica Collection in Rome in 1960.
