Item Description

A hard to find Apatite crystal from Bear Lake diggings in Ontario, but unlike the large opaque pieces that I've seen in the past, this piece is actually GEMMY! It's not water-clear, but it certainly passes light. This piece is a sharp, well-formed hexagonal prism with a somewhat "waxy" luster. The color is a greenish-yellow hue and the crystal is damage free as far as I can tell. It almost looks like it has a "nodular" termination, like Tourmaline, but I can't remember seeing it in an Apatite crystal
