Here we have a lovely collector specimen of Apatite from the famous Foote Mine in North Carolina! The mine is well known for its rare, unusual and attractive phosphate species, and has produced some gorgeous (albeit small) Apatite crystals in a wide range of colors and habits. This piece hosts sharp, lustrous, well-formed, GEMMY, purple / peach crystals of Apatite measuring up to 7 mm on matrix. I know there are many of you out there who collection Foote Mine specimens, and this is a great opportunity to buy a wonderful specimen from this well known locality.
