Purple Apatite is by far the most desirable of all colors of Apatite, and is for all intents and purpose, the most difficult to obtain. This piece features a few, sharp, somewhat gemmy, lustrous, banded purple color doubly-terminated crystals of Apatite measuring up to 7 mm on minor matrix. A lovely little thumbnail specimen of this rare shade of Apatite.
