Apatite

Item Description

Several soft blue color, undamaged, translucent, tabular Apatite crystals which measure up to 1.0 cm across on Feldspar matrix with Muscovite. The Apatites have good form and are aesthetically perched on the specimen as the photos illustrate. The crystals actually are "striped" showing a richer blue color zone in the center, with a lighter blue exterior on each end of the prism. Blue Apatites are not common from any locality, and this piece is very attractive.
