This neon blue Apatite really only comes from two places in the world. The Bahia area of Brazil produces a very intense deep blue color of Apatite, but stones are often very small. The Madagascar material is probably best known around the world for its intense color and has made a comeback in the gem world as I've seen it on some of the home shopping jewelry channels lately. This particular stone exhibits the classic neon blue color and is a good size stone for the material. It is nearly eye clean with a "Trillion" cut.
