Item Description
A lovely pink, this Apatite thumbnail is from this Tole locality in Pakistan, best known for its intriguing "faden" Quartz. Featuring a group of sharp, tabular crystals that are in parallel growth and staggered, the gemmy crystals give the impression of angular cathedral window. The wispy, nebular-like hazing in the cores give depth to the crystals, and the soft, lavender-pink fluorescence adds even more character to the Apatite. Most of the good pink Apatites came out of this area in the late 1990s-early 2000s, so to find one of this quality is a fortunate happenstance. It is crystallized pink geometry! Competitive quality thumbnail specimen. Please note, these do fade in exposure to sunlight.
