Anorthoroselite/Roselite-beta

We always called this roselite, and then it was roselite-beta, and now the scientists have renamed it again as Anorthoroselite just to add to the confusion. In any case, this is a sharp and pretty specimen with shockingly intense colored crystals to 7 mm, of a beautiful species which apparently attracts way to much attention from the nomenclature scientists! It is a large and richly crystallized specimen with contrast, and some display quality. The crystals are aesthetically emplaced on contrasting matrix. Some more recent examples have come out in the last few years, but this is older material, characterized by that unusual isolation of crystals instead of by a solid carpet. Most crystals are intact, although there is minor damage to lesser crystals throughout the display region. Valued $1000
