Item Description

Gemmy, bright apple-green, annabergite crystals richly cover the feldspar matrix on this very fine specimen from Laurium. This small, ancient mine is one of the most famous mines in the district and is well-known for the world's best annabergite specimens. Annabergite is a hydrated arsenate and was featured in a recent issue of Rocks and Minerals magazine. Highly representative material from the Wes Parker Collection.
