Item Description

Lustrous, sharp, flax-yellow ankerite rhombs, to about 1.2 cm on the diagonal, are aesthetically and richly scattered on the glassy quartz point matrix on this on this showy and excellent small cabinet combination from this famous Austrian locale. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 3672 and acquired in a trade at the Munich Show in 1964. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien-Welt" November-December 2017).
