Item Description

Naica is known to have produced some outstanding anhydrite specimens and this is an excellent and rare combination example. The front is a pristine translucent blade with pretty light, ice-blue color. Off to the side and back are striking parallel-growth and jackstraw clusters of smaller blades. The back is another story! The tip of the large frontal blade and much of the back are covered with sparkly, gray to colorless calcite microcrystals and smaller anhydrite blades.
