Naica is known to have produced some outstanding anhydrite specimens and this is an excellent and rare combination example. The impressive, club-shaped piece is composed of a multitude of lustrous, intergrown anhydrite blades of different sizes. The sides around the base are covered with sparkly, gray to colorless calcite microcrystals. Every turn presents a strikingly different perspective. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The club head, with smaller crystals, is pristine and you have to look hard to find the few broken crystals on the sides.
