Item Description
A choice spray of pearly, very faintly grey-blue Anhydrite (anhydrous calcium sulfate) from Naica - known better for its Gypsums (Selenites) - which are a close cousin, hydrous calcium sulfate. The Anhydrite blades reach up to 9.7 cm, and they are draped by hundreds of gemmy, mm-size calcites. An unusually aesthetic cluster of large Anhydrite crystals from this locality that seems to no longer produce them. Old classic!
