Item Description

Gem quality Anhydrite is not seen from many localities, and the pieces from St. Lawrence County, New York are some of the better known, yet elusive examples of the species out there. This rough and cut set features a good crystallized thumbnail with sharp, distinct faces and a gemmy pink-lavender interior. The gem is a "Rectangle Brilliant" cut gem with a silvery blue hue and is translucent for all intents and purposes. Hard to find on the market, and certainly worth picking up if you're a fan of the material.
