Razor-sharp, this excellent, tabular Anglesite sits majestically above a field of small Cerussite crystals, on matrix. 2.4 cm in size, the crystal is gemmy-to-translucent with fine striations adding a nice, visual texture to the light, broth-colored crystal. Touissit Anglesites are arguably the finest in the world and, in and of themselves, all these positive traits make for a terrific specimen. But shockingly, this Anglesite has a totally unexpected, orange-red fluorescence that is almost beyond words. Pristine, this is classic, highly desirable material. 1980s vintage.
