Anglesite (rare for Tsumeb)

Item Description

A showy and rich anglesite specimen from Tsumeb. Densely intergrown very glassy, tabular spearpoints cover the hefty corroded galena mother rock. The striking, sharply terminated, well-striated blade is 1.5 cm long. Many of the crystals are bruised, but this remains an excellent, very rich, highly representative and classic example of this desirable species from this renowned mine. From an East Coast collection.
