Item Description

A striking and excellent old-time combination from the famous Monteponi Mine. An impressive 6.3 cm vug in sparkly, massive, granular galena and pyrite is lined with colorless, gem, elongated anglesite prisms. A broken large crystal is noted in the center of the vug, otherwise the vug appears to be pristine. Classic combination material that clearly shows the galena host rock of the anglesite! Ex Harvard University, Jack Parnau and an East Coast collection. Heavy lead at 2040 grams or 4.5 pounds mass. Bright white fluorescence!
