Item Description

The beautiful Anglesite crystals from Touissit are arguably the most impressive examples of the species extant. Their outstanding electric color, combined with large gemmy crystals makes them some of the most recognizable minerals from any world locality. This small cabinet sized specimen features a few highly lustrous, gemmy, bright yellow colored tabular crystals of Anglesite measuring up to 1.2 cm sitting atop dense, massive grey-black Galena matrix. The crystals are in decent condition, but there are a few contacts, so they're not 100% pristine. This piece was were probably mined in the 1970s. Certainly, not recent. You don't see these on the market anymore, and they have become highly desirable classics in the years since they were found. Valued at $950.
