Item Description
A superb and RARE miniature combination from the famed Berg Aukas Mine, easily the source of the world's finest descloizite specimens. A RARE, stunning sharp, gem-like, 1.2 cm, gemmy/translucent orthorhombic anglesite crystal with adamatine lustre is beautifully nested in the sculptural elongated cluster of classic, lustrous, metallic dark gray to reddish-brown descloizite blades. The mine closed in 1978, so this is an outstanding older piece. The Paterson Museum label is incorrect. Descloizite is VERY RARE from Tsumeb and the crystal is Anglesite, not Cerussite.
