Anglesite and fluorite are RARE from this ancient extinct lead mine. Sharp, tinted to water-clear colorless anglesite crystals, to 1.2 cm, fill a sculptural well-placed 3.5 cm vug in hefty combination ore matrix on this rare and fine old-timer from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection. The granular anglesite matrix includes numerous sections of galena crystals AND sections of glassy light green fluorite crystals. The fluorite fluoresces purple. RARE and excellent combination material from the Haus Baden Mine, known for fine mimetite and pyromorphite specimens. Comes from an old East Coast collection with a Brian Lloyd label dating to the 1970s.
