Item Description

A very fine and rich large pseudomorph from the West Camp of famed Santa Eulalia. Minute sparkly anglesite and cerussite crystals have pseudomorphed cuboctahedral galena crystals above the hefty corroded galena matrix. The prominent large edge pseudo is 2.5 cm. From the 1995 find on the 4th level of the Inglaterra Mine. See the outstanding 2018 Mineralogical Record Mexico Special Issue VIII, Vol. 49, No. 1. Ex Steve Schwab Collection and acquired from well-known Mexico specialist and author Peter Megaw at the Tucson Show in 1999. Valued by the former dealer at $300. Rich, showy and hefty combination lead ore at 1129 grams or 2.5 pounds mass.
