Item Description
Classic, very rich and showy 360-degree anglesite from famed Tsumeb. The densely intergrown, tabular, glassy, translucent prisms have typical adamantine luster. Large crystals on the bottom reach 4.2 cm and the piece is in outstanding shape, with all the crystal density with very little bruising. The crystals are attached to the corroded galena '"mother" matrix. Every turn presents a different perspective to this sculptural upright small cabinet. The piece displays well without aid. A choice, rich and classic Tsumeb anglesite. Heavy lead at 654 grams or 1.5 pounds mass. Tsumeb anglesites of this size are nearly impossible to come by and this is a display sized rarity, which should be valued highly.
