Andradite w/ Epidote & Biotite (Dave Bristol Coll.)

Item Description

Sharp, highly lustrous, dark brown andradite doceahedrons, to 1.3 cm, have beautiful areas of golden-yellow translucence under bright light. They are aesthetically clustered on the large matrix with a complimentary rich coating of sparkly, very gemmy, yellow-green epidote crystals. Clusters of black biotite books and a few scattered small green diopside crystals are fine accents. The bit of noted bruising is certainly only a modest detraction to this very fine and rich combination from the Dave Bristol Collection.
