Item Description
Topazolite is a rare variety of gem andradite garnet with the color and transparency of topaz. This superb specimen features very gemmy and lustrous, golden-amber dodecahedrons aesthetically set in a well-placed, elongate vug lined with sparkly clinochlore microcrystals. The superlative, centrally-placed, large crystal is 1.4 cm. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality of this this outstanding piece. Collected by John Seibel, probably in the late 1980s. Value??
