Andradite var. Topazolite (New Find - rare locale)

Item Description

A striking and rich large plate from a New Find of this rare andradite varietal from this very obscure Iran locality. The glassy, gem dodecahedrons, to 1.3 cm, have rich golden-yellow to honey-brown color. Exciting material. Nearly all of the many crystals are pristine, with only a few bruised ones. This is a fine and rich large peice from the small lot we purchased.
