Item Description

Sharp, highly lustrous, jet-black melanite garnet dodecahedrons, to 1.1 cm, are very attractively clustered on the contrasting matrix on this very fine and aesthetic specimen from San Benito County. Specimens of this quality, crystal size and isolation are just not that common. Ex Steve Smale Collection and collected by Ken Roberts, circa 1980.. Valued $900
